Carol Lloyd Wilkerson's Obituary
Carol Eastis Wilkerson was born in Abilene, Texas on July 8, 1928, and went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2015. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Sidney Paul Wilkerson, her parents, Ethel and Robert Eastis, and two sisters, Billie Jean Tear and Bobby Sue Chapman. Carol loved and served the Lord, her country, and her family. She served in the Army during World War II as a part of the Air WAC. Carol retired in 1992 from the Dallas Independent School District where she worked as a Teacher’s Aide for many years. She never met a stranger, and was a light to many. Carol is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter; Phillip and his wife Mandy, Timothy, and Angela and her husband Scott; 12 grandchildren; Addison, Meredith, Kara, Kaci, Haley, Talon, Sydney, Cody, Scott and his wife Ashley, Jack and his wife April, Brady, and Abigail; and 4 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved “a bushel and a peck”. She also leaves behind a host of beloved relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at Restland, 13005 Greenville Ave; Services will be Friday at 2pm at Saturn Road Church of Christ, Garland. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
