Born on December 23, 1931, in Marble Falls, Texas, Cecil lived a remarkable life that spanned nearly 94 years, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and resilience.
Cecil was the cherished son of Eligha Leon Mosley and Cora Dennis. He was known for his natural intelligence and deep understanding of the Bible, which he knew cover to cover. His love for God was evident in every aspect of his life, guiding him as he served as an ordained minister. Throughout his life, Cecil exemplified the values of faith, dedication, and hard work.
Professionally, Cecil was a talented painter whose skills brought beauty to countless homes. He took great pride in his work, treating every project with care and precision.
Cecil was a devoted family man, survived by his beloved daughter, Carla Vietta, and her husband, Ricky Vietta. He was a proud grandfather to Tiffany and Michelle, and he cherished every moment spent with his great-grandchildren, Toby and Austin. Family gatherings were a source of joy for Cecil, and he loved sharing stories and wisdom with his loved ones. He is also survived by his siblings, Douglas Mosley and his wife Connie, and Ruthie Barnett, along with many other loving extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Cecil's funeral service will be held on November 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM. His family invites all who knew him to join in celebrating his remarkable life. While his physical presence will be greatly missed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, reminding us of the importance of faith and family.
