Absolutely heartbroken hearing of the passing of sweet Charlie. My sincere and deepest condolences to Patty and his girls. I was lucky enough to meet Charlie at the pool and instantly struck of a friendship. We could talk for hours about Golf, The Cowboys and of course his dogs!! I will miss his quick calls during a tournament just to make sure I saw a drive or a great Putt. He was so full of life and I will miss him deeply. Charlie loved Patty so much, he use to tell me how lucky he was that she was his bride and his girls and grand children were always part of every conversation. He was a treasure!!!

I remember Charlie and his wonderful sense of humor. He played many a game of pool with Howard in the back of our home across the street. I do remember one time, when I was having a slumber party (sleep over) that Charlie jumped out of the closet in the back room where he had been hiding and surprised all of us. He was a highlight of the evening! The Johnsen family loved the Goodbreads--Edith was my second mom. I am sorry I was unable to come today but did stream the service and was there in spirit.
