Mr. Charles William Robbins Jr., age 86, was born to Mr. Charles William Robbins Sr. and Ms. Gertrude Robbins on October 28, 1934, in Memphis, TN. Charlie passed away early Thursday, August 19, 2021 morning, peacefully in his sleep after years of fighting macular degeneration and Alzheimer’s disease.
He was survived by his wife of 57 years Loretta Robbins, his son William (Randy) Robbins & Mandi Valdez, and brother Richard Bee. Charles had 4 grandchildren, Christopher (Topher), Hayley, Victoria, and Cynthia. Charlie worked 40 years for Dee Brown Masonry as a bricklayer, foreman and superintendent, building many of the buildings that adorn the Dallas and Houston skyline.
