Charlotte Marie Mills' Obituary
MILLS, CHARLOTTE MARIE ENGELHAUPT 77 year old of Rowlett TX, lost her fight with cancer on December 6, 2012 at Plano Regional Hospital and went peacefully to the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior. She will be extremely missed by her children, Rodney (Tammy) Malcolm, Pam (Randy) Baker, Cynthia Black, Debra (Tim) Anderson, Rickey Malcolm (Shayla Wells), Saundra Roder, Becky (Ed) Milkie, Patricia Hose, Jeannie (Jeff) Weary, 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 8 sisters, 4 brothers, multiple nieces and nephews, friends and close neighbors. This compassionate angel will be greeted in Heaven by her loving husband, Wilburn L. Mills of 31 years, where they will dance together for all eternity. Their most cherished memories were of the Christmas holiday. They always decked out the house with multiple lights, decorations, homemade candies, cookies, cakes and chicken noodle soup. They especially looked forward to the smiles on the children’s faces when Santa Claus came to see them. They also welcomed friends and strangers in their house for the holiday. They said, “The more the merrier.” The thing most important to her was her family. She always said, “Stay close to your family no matter what, because without family you have nothing.” She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose and Vera (Black) Engelhaupt of Pierre, South Dakota; 2 sons; 1 grandchild; 1 sister and 3 brothers. The family will welcome friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday, December 10, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30PM, Tuesday, December 11 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
