Christeen Ackley's Obituary
ACKLEY, CHRISTEEN Born July 14, 1925 in Lindale, Texas and passed away November 9, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Christeen was a loving mother and awesome grandma. She was a die-hard Cowboys fan, ballroom danced well into her 80’s, and enjoyed crocheting throws for loved ones. When visiting friends in East Texas, she always made it a point to bring back “purple hull peas” to share. Preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings. Christeen is survived by daughter, Anita; son, Stephen; their spouses, Maureen and Lisa; grandchildren, Kimberley and Candice; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Emily and Willa Mae; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, November 12, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
