Born on January 18, 1912 in Lewisville, TX and passed away on October 17, 2008 in Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by husband, W. Morris Wallace, sisters , Fredda Mayes Wilcher and Margye Mayes Cluck, and brother Clyde Edward “Count” Mayes. Survived by son, William Mayes Wallace and wife Linda; grandchildren, William Branton Wallace, Ph.D., and Matthew Alexander Wallace; siblings, Merle Mayes Isom, Regina Mayes Stephens, Cora Mayes Cerniak, Edgar D. Mayes, Frederick W. “Ted” Mayes, and Jack H. Mayes. Visitation will be from 4 to 7PM Monday October 20, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 2PM Tuesday October 21, 2008 at Park Cities Baptist Church, Ellis Chapel, 3933 Northwest Pkwy, Dallas, TX.
