Will Alexander
Sunset towards Sunrise. To my friend and life long, always there buddy-farewell on your journey from the sunset of life into the sunrise of a new beginning. You had the courage to change the things in life that you could and wisdom to know what couldn’t be changed. I really missed the Challenged Sportsman of America events and the annual Rio Grande event that you so masterfully orchestrated each year. We shared many adventures in the outdoors, the programs of recovery and I so miss the trips to Uncertain to spend time on Caddo and sit around talking stories at the end of each day. They still haven’t found that gold lost in that Lake, have they. May the gold you find in your life hereafter be more than you ever dreamed and more precious than anything we could muster out of this world. As I hear “Taps” playing in my head, I bid you a farewell my friend and know that we will see one another again…But not yet. Your lifelong friend and good ole buddy, Will (or as you used to say-Willybob).
