Clara Belle Davis was born on September 6, 1928 in Denison, Texas and passed away January 18, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. Loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister. She had a unique and caring way that touched the lives to all that knew her. Her favorite words she ever heard was “Bye Nina, I LOVE YOU!” Preceded in death by her loving husband, Odie E Davis, her son Charles James and her parents Ida Clara Sharber and N.A. Jones (Dutch). Survived by daughter; Viola Wood and spouse, James; granddaughter, Kimberly Cole and spouse, Bobby; grandson, James Aaron Wood and daughter in law, Jennifer; granddaughter; Shana Maples and spouse, Butch; grandson, Herschel James; great grandchildren, Samantha Houston, Alexander Houston, Christopher Wood, Rebecca Wood, Kaylie Wood, Belinda Brown, GL Brown and Tristen James; Brothers, Albert Jones and Kenneth Jones; Sisters, Edna Terrell, Jessie Odell, Aline Jones and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. The service will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2017 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
