Clarence Junior Martin's Obituary
Martin, Clarence Junior 81, a long time resident of Dallas, Texas went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. He was born December 4, 1931 in White Oak, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ardelia; parents; two sisters; and one son, Robert. He is survived by four children, Sammy Martin and wife, Kay of Forney; Barbara Hobson of Arlington; Jimmy Martin and wife, Patricia of Balch Springs; and Linda Wallace of Wylie. Clarence is also survived by grandchildren, Chasity Crawford and husband, Jeff; Jennifer Martin, Aungelique Brading and husband, Lee; Tiffany Hobson, Shannon Creamer and husband, John; Djuanell Martin and wife, Amanda; Megan Tidwell and husband, David; Meshanna Adams and fiancee, Johnny; Amanda Layne and husband, James; Michele Nichols and husband, Robert; and Brandy Moreau and husband, Chris; sisters, Lois Brabbs, Melba Teague & husband, Bud; Peggy Finley and husband, Carl; and brother, Harvey McCreary, Sr. Clarence will also be missed by 22 great-grandchildren, extended family members and a host of friends. In 1951, Clarence & Ardelia moved to Dallas, Texas; shortly after he began his truck driving career with East Texas Motor Freight. He retired in 1990 from ABF Freight Lines. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on lawnmowers and continued to repair lawnmowers until he was no longer able. Vistitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on June 6, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 7, 2013 in Restland Wildwood Chapel with a graveside service in Silverlake, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to American Heart Association or American Lung Association. He is now reunited with the love of his life and they are dancing again.
