Claudie Mae Fulkersin's Obituary
FULKERSIN, CLAUDIE MAE, age 91, of Garland, Texas passed away suddenly on October 12, 2012 at Baylor Hospital of Garland. She was born on January 28, 1921 in Malakoff, Texas to her parents, Thomas G. and Nannie Elizabeth. She married Wilbert E. Fulkersin in Dallas, Texas on December 15, 1945. She was a longtime resident of Garland, Texas for 49 years and employed by Alcatel as a Communications Specialist for 28 years. Claudie was a member of Orchard Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to books on tape, gardening, playing with her dog, spending time with family, and she especially loved the Dallas Cowboys. Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert E. Fulkersin; mother, Nannie Elizabeth Green; father, Thomas Green; and siblings, Raymond, James Arthur (Bud), Jim, Viola, Roy, Bertha and Mildry. Claudie will be remembered by her children, Doris Mae Thomson of Garland Texas, Thomas Edward Fulkersin of Crestview, Florida; grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen, Claudie, Michael, Jennifer, Brian, Angelina and Matthew; great grandchildren, Thomas, Billy, Scotty, Elizabeth, Trenton, Xavier, Dayana, Jennifer, Brianna Fulkersin, Tiffany, Brittany, Brianna Thomson, and Elias; great great grandchild, Thomas Mitchel Calton III; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, October 18th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, October 19th at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
