Clinton Thomas Hawk's Obituary
Clinton Thomas Hawk III passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2015. He was born in New York City, NY on December 20, 1927 to Clinton T. Hawk II and Margaret Murphy Hawk. Anxious to fight for his country in WWII he enlisted in the Navy at 17 yrs. old. He graduated Union College, New York in 1951. He became part of the Texas National Guard as an Army Aviator, Captain. He also enjoyed a long career with LTV in Grand Prairie until retiring in 1995. He loved flying, the military, traveling abroad and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Hugh Hawk and Joseph Hawk and two sisters, Marylou Valero West and Peggy Mallon. He is survived by Doris Hawk, his loving wife of almost 50 years and many nieces and nephews. The visitation for Clinton Hawk will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home at 12:00pm. The service for Clinton Hawk will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home at 1:00pm.
