Emerson and I both played fullback on the HP Scots varsity, and he and I became good friends. I always loved his infectious (and slightly mischievous) smile. What a beautiful human being he was!
I'm very saddened by the news of his death, but someday he's going to welcome us to a much better place.

Although I haven’t seen Emerson in a long time, I always liked him. There something about him that was just likable, his easy personality and clever wit along with a big smile. I know his family knew how special he was.
He will be missed for sure.
