Cora Lee Cantrell's Obituary
Cora Lee Cantrell passed away quietly at home on October 30, 2011. She was born May 19, 1930 to Tom and Jewell Head. She was preceded in death by her husband William H. (Dutch) Cantrell, with whom she had two wonderful children. Together they owned and operated Dutch’s Men’s Wear in Dallas in the Oak Lawn area for a number of years. Cora was detail oriented with a passion for collecting antiques and an unrivaled knowledge of their history. Cora provided a lovely and immaculate home and was a superb decorator. In her later years she was an avid reader of books and writer of letters. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Pamela Cantrell-Brown (Arthur Arce) of Mesquite, son William H. Cantrell, Jr. of Weatherford, grandson Raymond Carter Cantrell of Dallas, granddaughter Courtney Elizabeth Cantrell of Weatherford, sister Sarah Francis Wright of Mesquite and countless other relatives and friends. Donations may be made to the White Rock Center of Hope, 10021 Garland Road, #A, Dallas, Texas 75218. Family will receive friends, relatives and well wishers at Restland Funeral Home from 6-8pm Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Graveside services will be at 10am Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home.
