Cora Nell Sneary's Obituary
SNEARY, CORA NELL 83, died December 31, 2006 following a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer. A native of Abilene, she married her husband of 64 years on Dec. 26, 1942. They moved to Dallas in 1958 where she worked alongside him for 35 years in a family business. She was a past president of the Women of Rotary and was recently honored by the Dallas Chapter of the Construction Specification Institute for her years of service in membership relations. An active member of Northway Christian Church, she was a member of the May-Friendship Class. Survivors: husband, Tom Sneary of Dallas; son, Loy Sneary and his wife, Helen, of Bay City; daughter, Barbara Sneary of Dallas; grandchildren, Shannon Sneary of Austin and Adam Sneary of Bay City, also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: 6-8pm, Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home.
