It is a year since Uncle Dan has passed away, and thoughts of phoning him to see how he’s doing are still there—especially on Saturdays to make sure he can watch Texas A&M play! I miss our chats. Love and prayers to my cousins. —Maria Teresa
We loved coming up to Plano to hang with Tio Dan. He would take us to mass, then out to meet his friends at the pizzeria. Listening to them sing was a lot of fun. I remember taking him to an SMU/A&M game and he loved running into his old school buddies there. Another time he was really excited when we took him to a Cowboy/Redskin game. I remember the Cowboys were losing by 18 points in the 4th quarter with 3 minutes left in the game. The crowd had been leaving already and he didn't want to leave because there was still a chance that the Cowboys could come back. Gotta love it! My Tio Daniel was a father to us after my parents passed when we were very young and continued his fatherly love, and advice until the very end. We will always cherish the wonderful times we spent with him. I know I will see him again someday. Love you my favorite Aggie!

Sending uncle Danny love! I was blessed to have spent some time with him in Dallas a year ago, and to have talked to him one last time over the phone. Memories I will cherish. Sending prayers and love to the family.
My heart goes out to Patti and Linda and Danny during this time of grief and bereavement of the loss of their bigger than life father Dan Galvan. Some of my fondest memories are visiting in their home in Richardson and sharing all the wonderful stories that Dan told about his childhood and his experiences working in the labor department in Dallas. He enriched my life and thank God that I got to know him—unforgettable person, and sterling character.
