Danny Thomas Hacker's Obituary
Danny Thomas Hacker of Plano, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on July 15, 2016 at the age of 78. He was born December 5, 1937, to Dan and Mollie Hacker in Wichita Falls, Texas. Dan was a graduate of Irving High School and Midwestern University. He married Linda Jean McDonald on December 14, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. Dan (aka Danny, Pop, Pizza Dan, Paw…) retired from Royal Insurance Agency, Inc. as an auditor and built Hacker Group Enterprises with his wife, Linda. He believed in servant leadership and served others with integrity and worked diligently to build positive relationships while striving for excellence. Dan was an active member of Hunter’s Glen Baptist Church, Plano and loved to serve as a cook at Beautiful Feet Ministries in Ft. Worth. His passion was cooking for others his special pizza recipe, salsa, gumbo, homemade biscuits, and other delicacies. Dan is survived by his wife, Linda Hacker of Plano, Texas; son, Milton Hacker and wife Cathy of Plano, Texas; daughter, Darlene Hudson and husband Van of Gainesville, Georgia; grandson, Brandon Hacker and wife Rachel of McKinney, Texas; brother, Jim Hacker of Houston, Texas; niece, Janet Falcone and husband Gregg of Bryan, Texas; nephew, Jim Hacker and wife Jeanne of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nephew Michael Lippincott and wife Paula of Forestburg, Texas; and daughters of sister Peggy Church, Lisa and Lynn. He is also survived by many dear friends whom he considered his family! He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Mollie Hacker and sisters, Peggy Church and Billie Lippincott. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Road, Plano, TX, 75023,972-867-1610.
