Darren William Brown's Obituary
Darren William Brown, 47, formerly of Richardson, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri. He will be laid to rest on Friday, May 31, 2019 in a graveside ceremony at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenvillle Ave.Darren is survived by his father, William L. Brown of Richardson. His mother, Christine Brown passed away on April 21, 2018. Darren will be buried next to her. He is also survived by his former wife, Rebecca Williams Brown of Kansas City, Kansas, and their 11-year-old daughter, Isabella Rae, as well as a son, Oliver Brown, age 5, of Kansas City. He is also survived by his older sister, Jennifer Brown Davis of Richardson & his twin nephews, Jonah & Nathaniel Davis.Darren attended Richardson public schools, and graduated in 1990 from J.J. Pearce High School. He received his associates degree from Longview Community College in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.Darren played guitar, and was well-versed in all kinds of music. He loved to swim, play tennis, and travel, and to read, especially books about history.He worked for many years as an auto technician, and recently also as an electronics technician. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society will be most appreciated.
