David B. Fink's Obituary
David Bennett Fink, 84, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2017 after a long battle with Parkinson’s. He will always be loved and missed tremendously by his family.David was born in Dallas on July 14, 1933 to Marguerite Wolins Fink and David L. Fink. He was a lifelong resident of the Dallas area, growing up in Highland Park and attending Highland Park High School before attending SMU as a business major. He joined the Naval Air Reserve in 1955. After completing his tour, he joined the family business, The Fink Company. In 1959 he married Beverly Jean Aday. David later opened his own business, Bennett Foods, where he worked for years serving the Dallas area. He worked hard running his business to provide for his family, but always enjoyed family vacation time anywhere there was a lake or a beach. In his later years, he most enjoyed spending his time with his family and long-time friends.He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly Aday Fink; son David Bennett Fink, Jr., son Doug Fink, daughter Kathy Moses and husband Billy, daughter Karen Nichols and husband James, and daughter Sharon Yervasi and husband James; Grandchildren Braeden, Morgan, and Dawson Moses; Tyler, Logan, Mabry, Emmaline, and Ansley Nichols; and Sydnee and Everett Yervasi. Visitation will be Sunday, December 17 from 3 to 5 at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas. Graveside service will be on Monday, December 18 at 1:00 at Restland Cemetery (section R).Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243; 972-238-7111.
