Dawn Faccilonga's Obituary
Dawn Faccilonga was born on December 02, 1960 in New York City, New York and passed away on September 23, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Dawn is preceded in death by her loving father, Anthony Faccilonga; grandparents, aunts and uncles and her true children, Dude, Splish, MB, Jordan, Blue and countless others she loved and cared for over the years, as well as Nanette’s Bandit the BoBo Boy Faccilonga. Dawn is survived by her last child, her sweet Shepherd; her loving mother, Elba Faccilonga; adoring sisters, Nanette, Faith and Maureen, niece, Brittni Owens; nephew, Mark Hermelyn, his children, Anthony and Rachael, along with his wife, Paula, Dawn’s long time friend. Dawn graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and Howard Payne University (attending with a full academic scholarship) with a bachelors degree in the Academy of Freedom program – with high honors. She worked for AON insurance before becoming ill 15 years ago with Avascular Necrosis. The visitation for Dawn will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Dawn will be at 2:30 PM on Monday, September 29, 2014 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at her Nanette’s home after burial for fellowship and in loving honor of our Dawn – who graduated from Angel on Earth, to Angel in Heaven. Dawn’s beautiful loving and kind spirit lives on forever – Dawn is “OUR FOREVER LOVE”. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
