ANDERSON, DELBERT G. born July 15, 1953 in Dallas, Texas has passed away August 11, 2014 in Garland, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, Deb and Mary Anderson; his grandparents, Glenn and Florene Hackworth and Mr. and Mrs. Carter Anderson, and his father-in- law, Fred Brown. Survived by his wife, Patti Anderson; his sons, Russell (Rusty) Anderson and Randell (Randy) Anderson; his beloved basset hounds, Daysee and Sidnee; his future daughter-in-law, Michelle Affek; his brother, David Anderson; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Brown; his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Karen Brown; his nephew and niece, Ryan and Lynn Brown; his niece, Jennifer Robinson; his great nephew, Michael Brown. Del Anderson was a kind, warm, funny, friendly man who loved his family, his friends, and his beloved basset hounds very much. He loved music especially the “oldies”, sports, mainly the Texas Longhorns and the excitement and adventure of the world around him. He will never be forgotten, and we will all miss him more than you can imagine. Service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Restland Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
