In Loving Memory of Dennis Andrew Bryant
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Andrew Bryant, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who passed away on February 9th 2025, at the age of 80. Born on April 16th, 1944, in Hillsboro Texas to Stephen George Bryant and Arvilla “Smallwood” Bryant, Dennis was the youngest of four siblings. A graduate of Highland Park High School in 1962, he also graduated from SMU University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Melvin Bryant, and brother Steven Bryant. Dennis is survived by his brother Timothy Bryant, wife Martha Bryant, daughter Missy Farrington (Ken), son Matt Bryant (Amy), and son Nathan Bryant (Stacey) along with 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Dennis was the loving husband of Martha Bryant for 63 beautiful years. Their bond was one of deep love and mutual respect, and together, they built a family that was at the heart of everything Dennis cherished. Dennis led a life filled with love, joy, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community. His family was his greatest joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to live on through them.
A man of unwavering loyalty and kindness, Dennis was known for his dependable nature and sense of humor that could light up any room. He had an innate intelligence and a diligent work ethic that he used to become a successful entrepreneur and business leader. His love for deep sea fishing was one of his greatest passions, and he cherished time spent on the water, always accompanied by family and friends.
Dennis will always be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and the positive impact he had on all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, strength, and joy will live on in the hearts of his family and everyone he touched.
A celebration of his life will be held on February 17th, 2025 at Restland Memorial Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas Texas 75243, beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at https://t2t.org/donate/
