Dieu Dai Nguyen's Obituary
Dieu Dai Nguyen passed away on January 31st, 2025, at the age of 77 after losing his battle to pancreatic cancer. Dieu was born on February 15th, 1947, to his father, Cam Nguyen, and his mother, Buom Bui, in Hue, Vietnam. In Vietnam, he served as a captain in the Vietnamese Navy. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, he went on to become an engineer for Honeywell. In 1993, Dieu married Maihuong Le, and the two went on to have one daughter, Michelle Lam. Dieu enjoyed football and traveling with his family. Even until the very end, he fought with everything he had, and his strong will and love of his family carried him through his treatments. Although Dieu is gone, his memory will forever live on in our hearts and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Maihuong Le, his daughter, Michelle Lam, and his son-in-law, Sean Lam. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cam Dai Nguyen and Buom Thi Bui.
