Dimple Mae Hendricks Bishop was born on April 23, 1929 in Hopkins County in Como, Texas and passed away on January 23, 2020 in Hospice Care at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX. Dimple was surrounded by her loved ones in her final hours. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harold Bishop; her son, Steve Bishop; sister, Betty Price; father, Carl Hendricks; mother, Ella Hendricks and brother James Hendricks.
Survived by: Daughter, Gloria (Pat) McCormick of Garland; daughter-in-law, Cindy Bishop of Edmond, OK; grandchildren: Shannon McCormick, Amanda (Jared) Hunter and Kelsey Bishop; great grandchildren: Emma and Jack and numerous family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on January 27, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Garland, TX from 2:00 -3:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at the church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave at Restland Rd. Dallas, Texas 75243.
