Don Ray Allen, the son of James G. and Vera Allen was born on August 15, 1939, in Dallas, Texas and passed away on October 27, 2017, in Plano, Texas.He married Larry Mills on August 14, 2015, in Plano, Texas. Don was very devoted and leaves Larry, his husband and soulmate of forty years, family and friends to cherish their precious memories of him and the fun times they shared. They enjoyed traveling and took many cruises and trips together. He will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral service to celebrate Don’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Royal Lane Baptist Church located at 6707 Royal Ln, Dallas, Texas 75230 with a 2:00 PM burial in the Holy Family Garden in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
