KNUTSON, JR., DONALD EUGENE “GENE” born August 25, 1947 in Dallas, TX and passed away March 12, 2013 in Pottsboro, TX. Donald was a Dallas Cowboy fanatic and an avid boater at Lake Texoma since 1986. He grew up in Richardson, TX and graduated from Richardson High School in 1966 and graduated from the University of North Texas – Denton in 1975. Donald loved traveling and taking cruises. He served in the navy during the Vietnam Era. Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather who adored his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Knutson. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Knutson; sons, Kyle Knutson and wife, Lisa and Bryan Catlett and wife, Azure; daughters, Stacey Wilson and Aimee Richmond; brother, Tom Knutson; 8 grandchildren with another due June . Funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, March 22, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County, 505 W. Center Street, Sherman, TX.
