Mrs. Doris L Williams' Obituary
Doris L. Williams, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was born on July 29, 1927 in Haskell, Texas and passed away on November 5, 2015 in Mesquite, Texas. Doris was the last of four children and was preceded in death by brothers Hugh and Robert Lowe, and sister Christina Grappe. She is survived by her son Gregg Williams, grandsons Travis and Eric Williams, and great-grandson Levi Williams. Doris was married to EB (Bill) Williams in 1947 and they were very happily married for 65 years, and provided a great example of how to have a happy marriage. After working for the government mostly with the IRS for thirty years, she and Bill worked as hospital volunteers in a Richardson hospital for 14 years. Just three weeks before her death her first great-grandchild was born, and knowing this brought such sweet smiles to her face. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM. Service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home at 3:00 PM.
