Dorothy Coates was born August 28, 1925 in Hainesville, Texas and passed away September 7, 2015 in Garland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Frank Coates. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Burris and husband, Danny; son, Stephen F. Coates and wife, Rayla; 5 grandchildren, Jan, Kristin, Pat, Craig and Crisala; 5 great-great children, Gavin, Peyton, Dalton, Rayliegh, and Christian. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church. Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thusday, September 10, 2015 at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
