Dorothy Jean Harmon, 78, of Irving, Texas, was born November 19, 1942 in Waxahachie, Texas to the parents of Gaines and Velma Price Thompson. She passed away on September 1, 2021. She married Thomas Harmon in 1969.
Dorothy will be remembered by her long term career in sales in the wallcovering industry. Her talent and passion lead her to be one of the top producing sales representatives for her company nationwide. Dorothy loved animals, cookbooks, and going to estate sales/garage sales to find her next treasure. Dorothy never met a stranger and her outgoing personality was infectious.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harmon; brother, Floyd Thompson; son, Jace Sellers and her parents Gaines and Velma Thompson.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Jeff Sullivan; his wife, Sharlen Sullivan of Euless, Texas; her daughter, Julie Harmon of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Jace Sullivan of Euless, Texas; sister, Dr. Patricia Weaver of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
