Doyle Ray Mitchell, 91, of Dallas, Texas passed away on May 26, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 17, 1930 to Ellis Mitchell and Vela Mae Mitchell (Hooper) in Queen City, Texas. He married Margie Andrews in 1950 in Dallas, TX. He worked has a machinist for over 40 plus years. He was quite a person to get to know. My dad lost his father when he was only eleven, but raised by a great mom and aunts. In spite of not having a father's influence after 11 years old he still did a great job of raising me and my brother and sister. He was always good to mom and had a great sense of humor. He loved us all and with love like that I know he must be in Heaven waiting on us.
He is survived by daughter, Margaret Sue Mitchell of Dallas, Texas; sons, Kenneth Ray Mitchell of Dallas, Texas and Tommy Dale Mitchell of Dallas, Texas; sister, Merl Arbuckle of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Bill Mitchell, Ray Holtzclaw; and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Harold Mitchell, Donald Holtzclaw, AJ Holtzclaw, and Margie Nell Holtzclaw.
