Preston Duane Epperson's Obituary
Preston Duane Epperson born February 15, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away May 25, 2015 at Baylor Hospital after a short illness. Preceded in death by father, Preston Dunreth Epperson; mother, Leta Frances Reeder; grandmother, Myrtle Lea Robinson; brother, Maxwell Dunreth Epperson. Preston is survived by two sons, Michael Epperson of Round Rock Texas, Kevin Patrick Epperson of Austin Texas; sister, Kristen Culverhouse of Caddo Mills, Texas; brother-in-law, J R Culverhouse of Caddo Mills, Texas; former wife and mother of his sons, Joanna Collins of Pasadena Texas; one grandson, two granddaughters; two nieces and two nephews. Preston Epperson was a member of the Armed Forces. Service in the US Navy with 2 tours of Vietnam. Awarded the Naval Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service medal with Fleet Marine Force Combat Operations Insignia. Received his construction training while In the Navy. We will celebrate Preston Epperson’s life on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home Dallas with a visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a graveside service at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
