Dusty Hurry's Obituary
The world according to Dusty has come to an end. Nancy (Dusty) Lee Hurry passed away on April 30, 2020, in Greenville, TX surrounded by her daughters. Dusty was born on January 11, 1945, in Washington DC to Helen and Charles Evans. She moved around in her childhood from Virginia to Florida to Arlington. She met and fell in love with Ray Hurry at The University of Texas in Arlington. They got married on August 13, 1965. They eventually settled in Richardson, TX. Dusty worked for SSBA, which became MBNA, which became Bank of America. She retired in 2004. After her retirement, she become very active with the Trifold Guild with North Texas Girls Scouts, St. Matthias Church, and the Prestonwood Newcomers Club. Dusty was a strong personality that always made an impression. She was a devoted wife and wonderful mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Rusti Hobart, and her husband. Dusty is survived by her daughters: Katy Ridge and her husband David, and Cory MacDonald and her husband Andrew, and her other, other daughter, Tina Cernosek. She leaves behind her grandchildren; Ian Self, Lily MacDonald, Finn MacDonald, Katrina Stewart, Michael Crider, Billie Ann Broge, And Megan Ridge.
