Earl Dalton Goodman's Obituary
Born December 1, 1917 to Claude Goodman and Bessie Williamson in Matador, TX. Passed away peacefully on May 24, 2009 in Arlington, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; brother, Truman C. Goodman, Sr. He served with the112th Calvary in WWII, receiving an honorable discharge. He retired from Steakley Chevrolet having worked for over 30 years as a salesman. He had a love of life, music, singing, antique radios and cars. He was an active member of Skillman Church of Christ for over 35 years. He is survived by niece, Barbara Goodman Richer and husband, Ron; nephew, Truman C. Goodman, Jr and wife, Diane; sister-in-law, Frances Goodman; great niece, Stephanie Goertz, Amanda Reigle, Sarah Goodman and great nephew, Nicholas Goodman. He is also survived by a great-great niece and nephew, Katelyn and Kyle Goertz as well as other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in the Garden of Mt. Vernon at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM, on May 26, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home.
