I met Earl and Della Lively around 15 years ago. While they didn't always understand why their daughter spent so much time with me and other volunteers helping animals, they were always generous and supportive.
Della loved to entertain while Earl loved his Cowboys team. During football season, you always knew where to find him...either cheering them on or cussing them out!
More recently, Earl became very attached to "One-Eye" a cat whose handicap didn't stop him from escaping out the front door when possible. At one point, Earl posted big notices on all doors: "Don't Let One-Eye Out!".
One-Eye and friends and family will miss Earl for a very long time.

So sorry for the loss of your dad, Anna. I only met Uncle Earl a couple times but have very fond memories of when he visited us in Bismarck. He had flown into Minot Air Force Base in his Texas Air National Guard jet. We took him back to Minot after his visit and got to see him take off in the jet. Great fun and memories. Anna, I was so sorry to hear you lost your father. I know you two had such a strong and enduring bond, right down to weekend football. I remember him when he came into Petsmart on the weekends - he had such a personality! Please let me know if I can help you in any way.
