Earnest Evertt Graf's Obituary
Earnest Evertt Graf, 79 of Dallas, passed away Friday March 4th at his residence in Lake Highlands from congestive heart failure. A lifelong resident of Dallas, Earnest was born February 10, 1937 to Sydney H. Graf and Velma Hodges Graf. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1956. Earnest served in the US Navy from 1956 – 1960 on the USS Sproston and the USS Coral Sea where he was trained and achieved electricians mate 2nd class. After his military service he became a successful general contractor for more than 50 years in Dallas, operating for many of those years as Agrafe General Contracting. He is preceded in death by wife, Judith Droze Graf, brothers, Dan Graf, John Graf, & Roger Graf, & parents, Sydney and Velma Graf. He is survived by: sons; Bruce, Larry & Earnie; daughter in laws; Connie, Eva, & Shanna; grandchildren; Austin, Andrew, Garrett, Stephanie, Addison, & Paxton; sisters; Jean Oney, Silver Poteete, Mae Kathryn Garcia, & Elaine Dorgan; brother, Houston Graf, and many nieces and nephews. The Reverend Pat Brown will hold funeral Services in the Northlake Baptist Church in Dallas on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00. Viewing will precede the service beginning at 10:00. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the military charity of your choice.
