Earnest Alva McDowell, Jr., 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2019, in Richardson, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, July 13, 1932, to his loving and thoughtful parents, Earnest Alva McDowell, Sr. and Ina Lucille McDowell in Dallas, Texas. Earnest Alva McDowell, Jr. will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.He married Martha Joan Parks on September 3, 1953 in Dallas, Texas. He was a Business Owner- Dow Printing and Screen Graphics, Inc. He was a member of FBC of Richardson Ministry Presidents. He served in the U.S. Army, GOCC. He was an Avid Golfer, All round strong athletic Patriot.He is survived by spouse Martha, daughter Susan Miles, Plano, TX, son Marcus McDowell, Richardson, TX, two grandchildren.He was preceded in death by children Bradford Lee and Lou Anne.Services will be 2:30 p.m. December 18, 2019 at Memorial Chapel in Restland Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
