Born February 1, 1930 and passed away April 8, 2016. Preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Housewright; his mother, Ella Housewright; his daddy, Claude F. Housewright; sisters, Estelle Shaw, Gladys Jones, Norma Comeau; and brother, Johnny Housewright. Survived by his wife, Joyce Housewright; daughter, Margaret Cumpston; daughter, Rhonda Housewright-Haught; son, Ronnie J. Housewright; daughter, Brittney Housewright; son in law, Rick Haught; daughter in law, Heather Duncan; 8 grandchildren, James, Felicia, CJ, Katelyn, Macie, Isabelle, Heather, Ashley; 3 great grandchildren, Victor, Maya, Audrey; 1 great grandchild on the way; 1 sister, Donna of New Mexico; and 3 brothers, Clark of Florida, Claudie and Bob of New Mexico. Don’t grieve for me, now I’m free, I’m following the path God made for me I took his hand when I heard him call my name I could not stay another day To laugh, love, or play Tasks left undone must stay that way I found my place at the end of my day. If my parting left a void, Please replace it with remembered memories Love shared, kisses given I will miss this also. Please don’t be burdened with sorrow, I will see you in the sunshine tomorrow. My life was full, I savored each moment, My wife, good friends, and the times with my loved ones. Gone but will forever remain in our hearts. Family will receive friends from 5:30 – 8:30 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
