Edith Dale "Edy" Avance's Obituary
Edith Dale “Edy” Avance loving wife, Mom, and Grammie born January 23, 1934 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. On April 18, 2023 she entered the gates of Heaven to walk the streets of gold, singing praises to our Savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Faye Owen, brother Leland Owen, her husband of 65 years, Harold Avance (her high school sweetheart), son Robert “Kubby” Avance and his sons, Seth and Cole Avance, and daughter-in-law Brenda Avance.
Edy is survived by her sister, Lefaye Edgington and husband Jason, her children: Gayland Avance, Renee’ and husband Terry Nichol, Suzanne “Suzi” and husband Don Eudaly, and daughter-in-law Tina Avance. Grammie had 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She had a wonderful passion for art, with brushes full of paint and a heart full of imagination. Painting numerous pictures, sharing her talent and knowledge while teaching her grandkids to en-joy the beauty of art.
A Christian, who shared her faith and love for God, teaching Bible classes throughout her lifetime. “For you are God’s masterpiece created in Jesus Christ to do good works which God pre-pared in advance for you to do.”- Ephesians 2:10
