Edith M. Woodson's Obituary
Born March 7, 1921 in Panola County, Texas; passed away June 1, 2009 in Royse City, Texas. Edith worked for many years as a waitress and as a dark room technician in a photography lab for Olan Mills; early in her life, she worked in the cotton fields. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Woodson; brother, Melvin Kyle; granddaughter, Lisa Graves; and great-grandson, Bryan Bounds. Survivors include her sons, Charles Graves and wife Kitty, Kenneth Graves and wife Velma; daughter, Donna K. Woodson Maples; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; as well as one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held in Edith’s honor at 10:00 am, Friday, June 5, 2009 in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park, Trinity Garden.
