I love you Grandma and am sorry that I allowed life to get in the way of keeping in contact these last few years. I wish I had known sooner than today, but my fears were confirmed today of your passing. I clicked on the "Share a Memory" tab to get to this forum, but truth is, there are too many memories to just pick one. You and I was a lot alike Grandma, and therefore argued over our many differences of opinion over the years. In spite of these differences, you were always there as a comfort to me, especially after Mom's death. I am glad that you now have the opportunity to be with Granddad, Mom, and the many other special people we/you have lost over the years. Til we meet again!
Vicki & I lost contact several years before Grandma's passing, after her stroke and due to distance. I've expected for quite some time that the next time I heard about Grandma, it'd be about her passing. Regardless, that doesn't make it any easier to process this day. I love you Grandma, and have missed you far longer than 16 months, and am glad that you and Granddad are reunited. As Mark wisely pointed out, we'll see you again.
