Rev. Elisha Armstrong Paschal Jr.'s Obituary
Born January 28, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK. Elisha A. Paschal Jr. passed away after a brief illness on August 29, 2009 in Plano, TX. He served his country in the army, was a geologist in the oil business, was president of SPWLA and served many congregations as a Presbyterian minister. Alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, Southern Methodist University, and Austin Theological Seminary, the Reverend Dr. Paschal’s intellectual zest and curiosity inspired those around him. He was a musician; a pastor; storyteller; loving husband, father, and grandfather and friend to everyone he met. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Stew Pot of the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas or to the First Presbyterian Church of Richardson (319 La Salle Drive). The memorial service will be at 2PM on Saturday September 5th at the First Presbyterian Church, Richardson. Preceded in death by parents Elisha and Lucile Paschal, brother James Paschal, grandson Grant Rowley, and son-in-law Ken Rowley, he is survived by his wife of 55 years Jane Paschal, daughter Debbie Rowley, son Mike Paschal, daughter-in-law Amy Paschal and grandchildren Sarah Rowley, Kelly Rowley, Julia Paschal and Matthew Paschal.
