Elizabeth Irene Russell's Obituary
Elizabeth Irene Russell passed away on November 13, 2025 in Dallas from Alzheimer's. She was born January 27, 1959 in Commerce, Texas to Billy Grant and Evelyn Russell. While growing up in Dallas, she was a member of Casa View Baptist Church and later Fellowship Bible Church. Liz graduated from Skyline High School in 1977, then graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 1981 with a BBA in Accounting. She immediately passed her CPA upon graduation and later received her MBA in management.
Liz worked for several companies in various accounting areas. She and her friend Whitney started Hawk & Russell, an accounting company.
Liz was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Russell and her brother, Gregory Russell.
She was also preceded in death by her fur babies; Jacob, Jenna, Fritz, Josie, and Roxie.
Liz is survived by her father, Billy Grant Russell; sister, Cathy (Michael) Glass; brother, Robert (Cathy) Russell; nephew, Grant Glass; nieces, Seann (Ross) Powell and Casey Russell.
