Elizabeth Ann White's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann White was born November 2, 1958 and passed away peacefully on February 9, 2023 at the age of 64. She leaves behind her loving mother, Barbara Stinson, who is currently on hospice at the age of 88. She is also survived by her sister Laurie Malone, brother-in-law Kyle Malone, nieces Kelsea Malone, Kaitlin Malone, Kendall Ramirez and great-niece Riley Malone-Grover. She is preceded in death by her father Jerry White.
Elizabeth graduated from Samuell High School in 1978 and then attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, New York. She worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 20 years. Elizabeth was active in her Catholic faith until recent years due to her declining health. She attended church wherever the deaf ministry was offered, taught young deaf students in the faith, and enjoyed attending Catholic Cursillos with her fellow deaf friends.
Beth loved to socialize with her friends and family. In her earlier years, she would plan trips and travel as often as she was able. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies. In more recent years, her favorite pastimes were to play cards, go out to eat, and drink iced coffee. She dearly loved her cats, Bandit and Toffee, who brought her lots of joy and companionship.
Elizabeth will most be remembered for her fighting spirit. She was very passionate about teaching others about the deaf culture. She wanted to make sure they understood and respected her point of view as a deaf individual. Elizabeth battled against health issues from the time she was born, but always tried her best to enjoy life to the fullest. May she rest in peace after her long, hard-fought journey.
