Ellison Paul Simonson's Obituary
Ellison, “Al”, Simonson, wass born in March of 1927 in Newark, New Jersey. Al served in the United States Navy during World War II. In 1961, Al married Elaine Bronstein. They were married many years before his beloved wife passed away in November of 2009. During his last days, he spoke often of being ready to be reunited in heaven.Al is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Maxwell, of Van Alstyne. He is also survived by his grandson, Nick Maxwell (Denise), of Van Alstyne, and great-grandson Kyle Maxwell (Amanda), of Melissa. Al had two daughters from a previous marriage along with two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Services with military honors will be at Restland Thursday, September 20.
