Ernie was was my brother-in-law as he and my sister Luanne were married for a number of years… I always considered Ernie part of the Family…and recall his football State Championships at Garland High, Ernie "chroming" most of the engine on my 1969 Triumph GT-6 car…and taking me fishing…and years later me taking his son Brandon fishing! Rest in the Father's arms Ernie…Someday we'll go fishing again! Condolences to you Debbie and all the Englebrestson's – Deb, Charlie,Paul.and family. Harry Norris

I remember Ernie all they way back to high school days in the '60s. My gosh, that is some 50 years ago. He was my brother-in-law for a number of years and was the father of my nephew Brandon. I always considered Ernie a friend even after all these years, for he was truly a good guy and will be missed by many. My condolences to all his family members and may the Lord give you consolation and peace in your time of sorrow and may Ernie rest in peace! May God Bless You All Steve Norris

I had the privilege to work with and for Ernie during most of the '90's. He was really good to me, as a boss and a human being. He taught me so much about cars, the collision industry, and life in general. Yep, he was a good guy. He will be missed by many.

Ernie and I became good friends in the late 1970 working in the Auto Collision Industry, we would go fishing and deep sea fishing together. I remember a time when we went deep sea fishing with a group of guys and I got sea motion sickness and of course there was beer I would be leaning over the boat railings barfing and he would be fishing off the back of the boat, he would holler out my name and when I looked up at him he would take a drink of his beer just so he could make me sicker needless to say we had a great time. I will always remember Ernie as my best friend with his witty remarks. we stayed in contact by phone since we had family to take care of. Debbie and family I ask God to give you strength and comfort. Ernie had a good life here on earth, now he will have eternal life in Gods Kingdom.
