MARMON, JR., ERNEST FRY passed away September 16, 2013 in Grapevine, TX. Ernie was born January 3, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Ernest and Lucy Marmon. 28 years ago Ernie met his wife Kristi in Dallas, TX. Ernie was a proud and loving father to his son, Cameron and enjoyed supporting him at his football games and track meets. Ernie was an avid sportsman who spent much time on the golf course and loved playing with friends, family, and at charity events. Ernie also loved to hunt and looked forward to dove hunting with his son every year. Ernie spent almost three decades working for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and the friendships he made there will last an eternity. Ernie had a big personality and zest for life and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kristi Marmon; loving son, Cameron Marmon; sister, Sheila Marmon Gregg; nephews, Jeremy and Andrew Gregg; aunt, Monty and uncle, J.D Chitsey; brother-in-law, Brandon Streng and his wife, Anne; and nieces, Taylor and Kaitlin Streng. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 23, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
