Eugene Norman Leach's Obituary
Gene Leach passed away from the earth to receive his Eternal reward on June 17, 2021 at the age of 87.
Gene lived his life for his country and family serving 20 years in the Army Air Force in Korea as well as Air Force and Army as an Air Borne Ranger, Green Beret and in Air Defense. He also worked at Baylor Gaston in the Engineering Department for 18 years and then worked odd jobs until age 70.
He married Mary Martinez, the love of his live in 1956 and were devoted to each other over 64 years until her death on April 17, 2021.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents John Wesley and Willie Edna along with a brother, sister and half brother Jimmie Cordell, grand daughter Stephanie and grand son Jefferey. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Richard Boyd and grandson Christopher.
There will be a private family viewing and graveside.
