Eula Belle Gant's Obituary
GANT, EULA BELLE went to be with her Lord and Savior and her husband, S.W. ‘Dub’ Gant on January 26, 2008. Mrs. Gant was born November 4, 1919 in Richardson, Texas. She attended school at Vickery, Texas and graduated from Plano High School in 1935. She is survived by two sons, Marshall Gant and wife, Linda and Jerry Gant and wife, Karen, all of Garland; her daughter, Cindy and husband, Stewart Owens of Powell, OH. She had eight grandchildren, Brian Gant of Dallas, Dr. Christopher Gant of Lexington, KY, Lance Gant and his wife, Sharla of Allen, Logan Gant of Henderson, TX, Staff Sergeant Landon Gant (USMC) and his wife, Andrea of Oceanside, CA, Lincoln Gant of Garland, Allison and Kyle Owens of Powell, OH. ‘Nanny’ was so very proud of her three great grandchildren, Caleb and Carson Gant of Allen and Hayden Gant of Oceanside, CA. She is survived by one brother, Emory Davis; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Davis, Marguerite Davis, Margorie Davis, Lois Price; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Mrs. Gant retired from Kraft Food of Garland, and later worked for the RISD. She was a long time resident of Richardson and was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Richardson. Mrs. Gant was a very kind and loving person to all. She missed her ‘Dub’ dearly. She was a loving mother who gave her all to her children. She will be deeply missed. The family wants to thank all of her caregivers and The Plaza at Richardson. Visitation will be from 6:30-8 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
