Ms. Eva Daphne Delgadillo's Obituary
Eva “Daphne” Delgadillo age 40, of Dallas, went to heaven, May 3rd, 2023. surrounded with lots of love. Daphne was born in Brownsville, Texas, on August 27, 1982, to Nery Mejia Luna. She was the first daughter granddaughter, and niece. She was loved by so many, and her positive attitude, beautiful smile, and laugh were contagious. She always gave the best hugs and made everyone around her feel loved. Daphne is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Amaya and Asaya, her children's father John, mother Nery, sister Deidre, brother De’Andree, stepdad Ali, Aunt Alma, Uncle Jr, Aunt Izela, and nephew and niece, Benjamin and Luna along with many more loved ones and friends and best friends that became family. She is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Evita Luna. Daphne’s special light will always live on through her babies and in spirit.
Evita had a soft spot for those in need or anyone who was just plain lonely. Evita was a beautiful
kind person who would give you her attention if needed. She always tried to keep the
peace between her family and friends.
The last few months of Evita's life were a struggle as the ugly grip of her illness took hold. But she
continued to cherish the warm embrace of friends and find comfort whenever surrounded by
conversation and laughter. She never stopped absorbing the love coming from those around her,
and she returned it in kind. She never stopped being Evita or Daphne.
On May 3, 2023, Eva Daphne Delgadillo shed her earthly pain and made a graceful exit,
surrounded by the love she had nurtured all her life.
Today and forever, she flies free.
