Evelyn Lund's Obituary
Evelyn Wills Evelyn (Lallie to all her family) was born on October 30, 1917 and died January 10, 2015. She graduated from Sunset High School at age 16 and worked in Dallas before marrying Lloyd (our beloved PopPop) for 64 years. Lallie wrote and told her original and Texas History stories to thousands of children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, who thought she was the smartest, funniest person in the whole world. She is in the hearts of her daughter, Julie and her husband, Jay Dee; son, Mark; grandchildren, Sarah, Jeramie and his wife Mara, Amy and her husband, Chase; great-grandchildren Lilly, Charlie, and Will. Our special thanks to Cathy Battle, Sherline Green, Linda Richardson, and the caregivers from Holden House for their special care these past years. A memorial service will be held 1PM on Saturday, February 21, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Chapel, 5923 Royal Lane, 75230. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Heifer Project, Pathway Hospice.
